If you're a Canadian exhibitor at GLOBE this year you'll want to
keep reading this post. Dragons' Den is touring across Canada
landing at GLOBE 2010. On Friday, March 26th the
producers of CBC's hit show Dragons' Den will be holding auditions
for their upcoming season on the GLOBE Trade Show floor.
Dragons' Den gives hopeful GLOBE 2010 businesspeople the chance
to pitch their latest innovation or hot new idea to five of
Canada's most successful entrepreneurs including Arlene Dickinson,
Robert Herjavec, Jim Treliving, Kevin O'Leary, and W. Brett Wilson.
And if these "Dragons" like the idea they'll contribute a sizeable
investment toward it.
We're thrilled to be able to give our Canadian GLOBE exhibitors
the chance to audition for this fabulous show and potentially
travel to Toronto to appear on the sixth season of Dragons' Den.
But be warned: the Dragons don't open their wallets for just anyone
so come prepared with a confident and convincing
pitch.
Auditions will take place on Friday, March 26th from 12:00 noon
to 4:00 pm. No experience necessary - just be ready to pitch your
business in under five minutes.
And as extra incentive, entrepreneurs with an eco-friendly
business, invention, or idea could qualify for a $100,000 Greenvention Prize, sponsored by Sun
Chips. A Greenvention is an eco-friendly idea that will make a huge
difference in the world. For example, SunChips' Greenvention was
their world-first compostable chip bag. Now, in association with
CBC's Dragons' Den, they are on the search for the next big
Greenvention, perfect for GLOBE 2010 exhibitors to take part
in!
